The Foundation for IgA Nephropathy
Webmaster
I've been maintaining and updating this website since I first developed it in 2000, when it was originally the FAQ companion website to the IgA Nephropathy Support Group. The site was originally produced using an outlined-based WYSIWYG website development tool which has since become orphanware. While still usable, it is getting a little obsolete in terms of current web standards, and it produces messy HTML code which is not completely conformant to current standards. I still use it to update existing pages as needed, but I use hand coding and various HTML editors to produce new pages which can be validated according to W3C standards for HTML markup. Eventually, I hope to redo the entire site this way, page by page. My web design philosophy is to keep the pages clean and simple. I use mostly open source tools of various types.
I hope you will find the website useful in learning about IgA nephropathy and its various treatment options at every stage of chronic kidney disease, and that we will hear from you on our Yahoo Group.
