Kidney function calculators

Please note the following

GFR means "glomerular filtration rate". For all intents and purposes, it is the equivalent of saying "percentage kidney function". It is also roughly equivalent to "creatinine clearance", although there may be a difference in some cases. Also note that GFR calculators are inaccurate when kidney function is closer to normal, and creatinine clearance may be more inaccurate when kidney function is in the area of 20-25% because some creatinine is eliminated into the urine via tubular excretion rather than glomerular filtration (this has a greater effect on overall creatinine clearance results when GFR is low).
